A.M. Best Affirms Western & Southern's A+ Rating

The challenging economic climate and ongoing market volatility make it more important than ever to align clients with a financially strong company, one that possesses the resources to weather the storm. A.M. Best Co. has affirmed the financial strength rating of all six of Western & Southern Financial Group's core life insurance subsidiaries — including Integrity Life Insurance Company and National Integrity Life Insurance Company. The A+ (Superior) rating is the second highest of A.M. Best's 16 financial strength ratings.
In its rating report, A.M. Best stated that the rating reflects Western & Southern's "consolidated strong risk-adjusted capitalization, consistently positive statutory and GAAP operating earnings, and diverse product portfolio and distribution platform." Western & Southern has held an A.M. Best rating of A or higher for the past 75 years.
